MOSES
(Making OurSelves Equipped Servants)
endeavors to equip Christian young people and adults to share the
love of God, the salvation of Jesus Christ, and the power of the
Holy Spirit by its service of word and deed.

From its inception, MOSES desired to offer a program that would allow young people and adults to experience the servant's heart of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We believe that the best way to do this is to move your body - to get out and DO something for Jesus. The MOSES Board of Directors sets policy and makes final decisions in the administration of the ministry. All the directors are also actively involved in leading and coordinating trips.
All participants are at many different levels of maturity in their walks with Christ. In fact, some may not even know Christ as their Savior and sometimes a young person will accept Him on one of our trips. All are gaining valuable exposure to cross-cultural ministry, inner-city problems resulting from drugs, alcohol, prostitution, crime, gangs, poverty, broken families, death and despair and experiencing what it means to be a servant of Jesus Christ.
We have followed the progress of some of the young people who have participated since the beginning of MOSES back in 1988. Many are now at Christian colleges and seminaries, preparing to be youth pastors, counselors, missionaries, doctors, nurses, teachers, etc. These young men and women have told us that their life choices have been shaped by their involvement with MOSES. Whether they serve our Lord at home or abroad, they are making a difference for His Kingdom!
