In early March, Spanish 4 students went to Teatro ECAS, the only Latino repertory theater in New England, where they saw the play Yo Soy Minerva performed in Spanish with English supertitles. Students prepared by learning the true story of Minerva Mirabal and her sisters, who fought against a dictatorship in the Dominican Republic. After the play, students engaged in a bilingual Q&A with the actors and the play's creator.
