Boys Basketball

As a native of Rhode Island, Calvin Jones has a deep affection and love for the city of Providence. He attended LaSalle Academy & was a 2006 Providence Journal First Team All-State member & LaSalle’s 2006 Male Athlete of the Year. After High School, Calvin went on to play at Johnson & Wales University (JWU). Calvin played a key role in a conference championship and the school’s first win in a NCAA Tournament. After a successful collegiate career at JWU, Calvin decided to pursue coaching and training. He joined the 2013 coaching staff at JWU. In 2013, Calvin created what is now one of the top basketball programs in the east coast, Camp ERROL. The organization is a multifaceted program that provides a platform for youth in the city of Providence and surrounding areas to learn and experience all levels of the basketball world through youth camps, local/national events, and apprenticeship opportunities.
 Through hard work & consistency, Calvin has played a huge role in the improvement of basketball in the state of Rhode Island.
