With your help, we’re ready to set a new Giving Day record this year! Thanks to the incredible support of the MB Community, we raised $282,342 from 607 gifts during last year’s 1784-Minute Challenge (September 2024). Let’s make this year even bigger!

What is the 1784-Minute Challenge? 

The 1784-Minute Challenge is our annual giving event dedicated to raising vital resources for the Moses Brown Fund. It’s a special day (and a half!) — 1784 minutes to be exact — when our entire community comes together to support Moses Brown School’s mission. Your participation — with a gift of any size — ensures we can continue to provide our students with the best educational experience possible.

The 2025 Challenge kicks off at 6:00 a.m. EST on September 25 and runs through 11:44 a.m. EST on September 26. We encourage every member of the MB community to unite in celebrating Moses Brown School and show your lasting commitment to educational excellence by contributing to the Moses Brown Fund.

Why Your Gift Matters

There are several ways you can make a difference during the 1784-Minute Challenge. 

Make a Gift!

  • This is the most direct way to participate. Look for the “Give Now” button and give during the Challenge! Afraid you will forget? Don’t worry - you can give early today and your gift will count towards the challenge.

Volunteer - Become an Advocate

  • Our volunteers are crucial  to helping us reach our goals for the 1784-Minute Challenge. Without your support, the day simply wouldn’t be possible!
  • Please consider helping us spread the word. Reach out to other parents or classmates via email, phone, social media, or however you connect best.

Offer a Match or Challenge

  • Want to amplify your impact and inspire others? Consider creating your very own matching donation or challenge. This is a powerful way to motivate additional gifts!
